PAX Count Down

PAX is finally getting close enough I can start to really look forward to it. It's pretty funny trying to explaine exactly where I am going to "non-gaming" people. It always end up with them going "Oh, it's some sort of Nerd Convention".. at which point i just sigh and nod.
I'm really hoping that Nintendo is there with the Wii. It might end up being just wishful thinking, but I intend on standing in a lineup for a long time to get a chance to play that sucker if it's there. I really want to figure out if things are going to work as well as they appear they are. The light bar still has me wondering and I'm trying to figure out how that will fit in my "entertainment totem" setup.
There is a lot of talk about PAX filling some of the void of what used to be E3. It's not the same type of thing as far as I can tell at all, but if that means that more vendors are there trying to show me the newest and coolest stuff? Sweet.
