The Last Time My Site Will Say PAX... This Year

Well, not quite.. but close. I picked up Alien Hominid for the Game Cube at PAX. I actually played the HD version for the 360 there ,but I was hooked in about 5 seconds. I haven't played a good old fashioned side scrolling shooter with stupid huge bosses in so long. I couldn't exactly pass it up for only $20 USD too.

I'm mildly addicted to a crazy Japanese import game that I picked up as well called Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. This thing cost a little bit more than Alien Hominid, but it may just be the most addictive and fun game I've ever played. I've only barely figured out what the hell these guys are doing, but basically the idea is you hit numbers in order to the beat of the music. Oh yea, the music? It's crazy full J-pop tunes, which you can't get out of your head.

Overall, PAX was a blast. Will do again next year for sure.

P.S. The TV was fixed.
