I Hate My Neighbours

I'm pretty sure most people do when they live in apartment buildings, but I especially hate ours. We didn't realize how thin the walls were when we picked this place. Given the circumstances of moving here, it could have been worse I suppose.

The unfortunate design of the apartments means that their living room adjoins with our bedroom wall. They have a habit of having parties and staying up until like 5am with the TV on (like now, hence why this is posted so late). I can hear every word they say in their apartment (and I assume it works both ways) from my bedroom. I'm a light sleeper, so it really bothers me. The night they left it on a channel with the test pattern beep at high volumes was quite fun.

It has made for a few funny moments like when some random visitor was discussing his, *ahem* short comings.

Oh well, more excuses to get a house again once the lease is up. I really should complain to someone that can do something about it I guess too.
