Stupid Teenagers

A trip out Saturday for more drugs and cough drops (sick as hell) turned into more fun that I expected.
We were passed by a Jetta driving very quickly (on wet roads) past the new Sewage Treatment Plant on the Upper Water St. extension. It lost control and couldn't make the turn right by the entrance to the dock yards there, and went off the road and into some trees.
We stopped of course (though no one else did; people suck) and asked if they were okay. The first of the four teenagers that had bailed out of the car immediately said yes they were ok but something was up. The kids were fishing in the trunk and all moving away from the car. I called 911 on my cell just in case and as I was talking to the dispatcher the teenagers removed the license plate of the car and took off.

So we had to hang around and wait for the police to show up so we could give statements. Fun. The funny part was not only did the Halifax Regional Police show up, but also some Military Police. Since the car had landed on the edge of a parking lot in the dock yards, they were attempting to figure out jurisdiction when I left.
Not only was I stupid enough not to take a picture of any of this with my cell phone, but I also didn't get to find out if the car was stolen or not. Oh well, hopefully they catch the little buggers.
