Stupid Teenagers

by Kevin on Sunday, March 9 at 11:48 PM GMT-4

A trip out Saturday for more drugs and cough drops (sick as hell) turned into more fun that I expected.

We were passed by a Jetta driving very quickly (on wet roads) past the new Sewage Treatment Plant on the Upper Water St. extension. It lost control and couldn't make the turn right by the entrance to the dock yards there, and went off the road and into some trees.

We stopped of course (though no one else did; people suck) and asked if they were okay. The first of the four teenagers that had bailed out of the car immediately said yes they were ok but something was up. The kids were fishing in the trunk and all moving away from the car. I called 911 on my cell just in case and as I was talking to the dispatcher the teenagers removed the license plate of the car and took off.

So we had to hang around and wait for the police to show up so we could give statements. Fun. The funny part was not only did the Halifax Regional Police show up, but also some Military Police. Since the car had landed on the edge of a parking lot in the dock yards, they were attempting to figure out jurisdiction when I left.

Not only was I stupid enough not to take a picture of any of this with my cell phone, but I also didn't get to find out if the car was stolen or not. Oh well, hopefully they catch the little buggers.

Nope, been in Halifax for almost 2 years now. Gabe is doing great, growing like a weed. There's a bazillion photos in the gallery if you want to see.

So on March 9th i was standing watch at the gates when a young male and young female tried to come in through the gate trying to find their way to the shipping yard and we had to direct them how to get there. I noticed that they were covered in mud and soaked (it was pouring this day) and that they seemed to be high or drunk. Then later i moved to another gate when one of the military police cars comes in with a lady in the back who gets out and its the one who tried to come through the gate earlier ... so talking to him and they were just involved in an accident and civilians had called 911 and reported them hitting the tree and taking the license plate off and id'ing them but would like me to id them as well to get a better case against them. lol .. very very small world i guess. Update .. the same two people were arrested again a couple of days later for a break and enter. There is even more to the story of that day but i dont feel like typing it all out lol

That's insane, it is a small world. I'm just glad they may get some punishment for being dumbasses.
